Your daily work schedule will include assisting with forward planning, ensuring the job site is clean, scheduling construction inspections, and coordinating the preparation of buildings for the final walk-through. Responsibilities: Assist construction manager, general contractors, project engineers, and builders with all aspects of the construction job and the daily procedures of the project to ensure the build is progressing, and your techniques and skills are being developed Support the project manager and lead team in the forward planning process to ensure the building will be well-maintained in the future Document job changes and daily construction work tasks to assist the project manager with paperwork Work in accordance with all safety guidelines on job site and immediately report any incidents or violations of work rules to supervisor Secure on-site material deliveries, prepare materials for returns, fill out purchase orders, remove debris, and handle waste removal properly Water the yard and clean the job site as needed to maintain a good exterior appearance Finalize home completions and walk homes or buildings with the construction manager and the client • Conduct initial onsite job walks (typically Tuesday mornings from 8:00am - 11:00am) • Update and send communications, change orders, purchase orders, invoices, estimates to clients and vendors Qualifications: Carry a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Have good physical stamina to climb ladders and climb stairs, work outdoors for long periods of time History of professionalism, being a team player, adhering to project schedules, regular attendance at work, and a strong work ethic Basic skills construction knowledge (how to use construction equipment and tools) is needed High school diploma or GED is required Work experience as an administrative assistant or in the construction industry is preferred, but not required • Basic knowledge of Google calendar, Word, Excel, and email Compensation: $15/hour, flexible schedule
