Work with mothers through their final stages of pregnancy helping with birthing, monitoring vitals, and becoming astute in signs and symptoms of possible complications. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with all areas related to labor and delivery, newborn nursery, & postpartum.
• Care and prep for patients during labor and delivery, including cesarean delivery.
• Assist with the care of post-partum patients and newborns. Be prepared to tend to unstable infants as needed.
• Perform newborn assessments, including the ability to perform and record newborn hearing screens.

Education & Experience:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited R.N. school of nursing.
• Required Licensure/Certification: Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Nebraska.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year L&D and normal newborn care experience preferred.
