    Siebert Williams Shank (SWS) is conducting a search for an Investment Banking Analyst or Associate to join its capital markets team and work in-office from its NYC headquarters.     The Analyst in this role will work directly with senior bankers within a ten-person department and will not only experience the deal process from start to finish, but also see how expertise and client service drive business growth. The candidate best suited for this position is eager to work in a boutique firm and is unwavering as they seek the challenges that accompany the effort to chart new territory in the financial industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the execution of deals, including investment grade bonds, equities and hybrid securities for corporates and financial institutions.
    • Prepare pitch-book materials, RFPs, and deal case studies
    • Conduct financial and industry analysis
    • Coordinate with other departments such as fixed income trading, money markets, equities, tax-exempt finance, and senior management to support marketing of the firm's services to issuers and investors
    • Coordinate with external transaction teams at Fortune 500 clients, leading law firms and other Wall Street banks
    • Maintain critical client and transaction databases
    • At least 6 – 12 months of investment banking or related experience
    • Proven ability to problem solve and think creatively in a time-pressured environment
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

    Qualifications

    • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg experience a plus
    • SIE and Series 79 required; Series 63 and 7 a plus

    We are Committed to Fair Pay. At SWS, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The target total fixed compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $175,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will be determined by the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
