AS A PRODUCTION DESIGNER AT SIEGEL+GALE, YOU WILL:

• Work closely with design, activation and program management teams to ensure that assignments are completed on time, on budget and in alignment with the design intent
• Develop guidelines, specifications and tools to implement and manage brand identity systems
• Be responsible for mechanical development, identity asset development for print and digital, mechanical production, photo retouching, creating presentation materials, and miscellaneous specialty production tasks as assigned
• Have strong coordination with the creative team to proactively solve production/creative related issues
• Work with common software to craft detailed/structured production mechanical files
• Properly document specifications and usage instructions
• Recommend more efficient and timesaving methodologies that simultaneously improve the quality of our work product  
• Perform quality control of client deliverables
• Conduct Media Testing (including print and digital, color viability, accessibility, etc.)
• Communicate clearly to educate team members about best practices and implications of design decisions on implementation

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE:

• 5+ years of experience in the design industry with hands-on design, implementation and production experience
• Design background recommended
• Extensive experience working directly with clients and vendors
• Strong project management/organizational skills
• Utmost attention to detail
• The ability to juggle more than one project at a time
• Ability to simplify
• Knowledge of brand identity design and activites related to the implementation of brand identity systems
• Working knowledge of pre-press and printing processes and techniques
• Experience in developing assets for digital touchpoints such as websites, social media, etc
• Good command of typographic basics
• Extensive knowledge of all commonly used design and production application software (Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Figma, Sketch)
• Strong working knowledge of business application software (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Keynote etc.)
• Experience in photo retouching an advantage
• Familiarity with use of special materials, such as plastics, an advantage
