The Experience practice at helps propel brands by defining how their users and customers truly encounter them. To do this, we draw upon a broad set of skills, that extend far beyond screen design.

AS AN EXPERIENCE DESIGNER YOU ARE EXPECTED TO:

• Support and contribute to the client discovery process
• Be our passionate advocate on the power of experience
• Help determine how to maximize the capabilities of client content management systems and production platforms
• Translate business objectives and end-user needs into experience strategies
• Develop information architecture structures that translates to experiences
• Support customer experience mapping to capture and express how end-users currently interact with a brand, and to envision the ideal future state
• Contribute to team brainstorming to determine what, when and how our clients can communicate to drive engagement and satisfaction
• Own the quality, accuracy and completeness of UX-related deliverables; this includes creating personas, use cases and user flows; developing experience maps; developing wireframes and prototypes to express ideas and experiences
• Participate in client interviews, work sessions and presentations with senior team members
• Provide UX and content knowledge to other practice teams within S+G

YOU'RE A GREAT FIT FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU:

• Have 1-3 years of relevant experience in areas of UX, UI design, and service design
• Are a confident and flexible member of interdisciplinary teams where harmonious collaboration is imperative; your sweet spot is the intersection of design, experience and technology.
• Have experience with a at least one design and prototyping tool (e.g. Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD).
• Understand how to turn human behavior and needs into real concepts and are obsessed with what design and technology can do for people.
• Think in systems; you love solving big, hairy problems and can logically visualize complex systems, user interaction flows and beautiful user interface.
• Can nurture a cohesive product vision and finesse visual designs at a vector or pixel level, if necessary.
• Get what it takes to build something – regardless of the means. Working with a development partner or working with an in-house team, you're comfortable vetting and aligning partners, and shepherding stakeholders on the journey of bringing software to market.
• Communicate clearly, especially when complex topics are involved. with particular skill in information architecture
• Bring exceptional presence and confidence to client interactions, including contributing to interviews and presentations
• Obsess over understanding human behavior and user needs
