Job Summary
Provide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure compliance, safe work places, and continuous improvement of Siegwerk's environmenta, health and safety programs and policies. Advise site management of compliance concerns and work with them to provide strategic direction and solutions. Adheres to all departmental/company policies and standards.
Job Responsibilities
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Chemistry, National Science or related field preferred but not required.
Minimum five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and other team members.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical reasoning. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to perform a variety of computer functions is required. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications. Knowledge in SAP preferred, but not required. Must be proficient in learning new software applications.
Having a familiarity with the safe handling of hazardous materials would be beneficial, but not required.
A daily drive to improve the overall safety of the facility rather than maintain the status quo will be expected.
