Responsibilities: Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if necessary Help dentists and dental hygienists during procedures or examinations by providing suction, handing off dental instruments, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use • Take impression and digital scans. Enter chart notes and treatment recommendations during patient visits accurately and thoroughly. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Qualifications: Must possess a current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Current BLS/CPR certification is required Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred Compensation: $23 - $26 hourly
