Responsibilities: Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment Take and document vital signs and medical history for patient records Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team Ensure dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures • Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials • Take impression and digital scans. Enter chart notes and treatment recommendations during patient visits accurately and thoroughly. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment Qualifications: Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary Active BLS/CPR certification is required • Must have a valid X-ray license • Must have experience working as a dental assistant Compensation: $18 - $21 hourly
