General Description: The Human Resources Generalist assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties.
· Coordinate employee events, service awards and retirements.
401k enrollments, medical and dental enrollments.
Enroll, modify, and terminate (send COBRA notifications).
Online I-9 document verification via Hireright
Audit and communicate VISA expirations.
Process conversions and initiate employee onboarding through company systems (HRIS- Connect and TMS).
Orientation of newly hired employees.
Scan and submit timecards to temporary agencies.
Daily communication with the temporary agencies to coordinate incoming temporary employees
Sort, file and report incoming employee paperwork.
New hire/ termination paperwork.
Garnishments, Employment verifications, EDD and Equifax claims.
Sort payroll checks.
Support Safety Manager with wage statements/job titles
Provide reporting data regularly to HR Director
Work experience requirements:
· 2-5 years’ experience in Human Resources computer skills, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, ADP, Time and Attendance, E-Verify, Badge system.
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree Preferred and/or work experience
· Bilingual a Plus
Professional Human Resources certification highly desired.
