Job Description

This position involves bidding and project management of a wide variety of commercial and public works civil site construction projects ranging from $5,000 - $1,000,000. Our company's core-competency is asphalt paving so applicants must have significant knowledge of asphalt paving to be considered. Knowledge of site grading, underground utilities, concrete, seal coats, and pavement markings highly desirable. Competitive salary and benefits negotiable.

Duties include: Meeting with clients to develop scope of project. Analyzing plans and specifications, performing area and material take-offs. Preparing estimates and proposals. Managing projects from bid inception through construction completion, including interactions with owners, general contractors, sub-contractors, and inspectors. Developing and managing schedules. All aspects of bid package submission. All project management paperwork including contracts, subcontract agreements, RFI's, change orders, and billings. Work closely with our superintendent to ensure projects are delivered in conformance with project requirements and on budget. Project dispute resolution. Build and maintain relationships with customers, subcontractors, material suppliers, and other vendors.
