    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    · Our Accounting Specialist can expect to work in close proximity with our clients in order to ensure that the most economically viable and safe decisions are made in order to keep finances tight and under control. The Accounting Specialist should have vast knowledge of QuickBooks, or a similar a computer accounting program, in order to track and record the financial transactions and records of a company they are assigned.

    · Accounting Specialist perform financial calculations for companies in a wide variety of fields. Some common duties include creating sales and cash flow reports, administering payroll, keeping balance sheets, carrying out billing activities, managing budgets and keeping inventory. Finance Consultant will also be responsible for sales filing taxes for the company, as well as reviewing past reports to generate income forecasts.

    · Occasionally, internal audits must be carried out to make sure that the various areas of the company are performing as expected; the accountant must also make sure that staff members are adhering to company policies and relevant laws. The Finance Consultant should be able to create accurate, detailed reports to illustrate data; sometimes, these reports have to be presented to management. The accountant may oversee the financial transactions of one department or multiple departments within their organization. Usually, a Finance Consultant will be in charge of paying the many expenses a business incurs. These expenses usually include things like electricity, internet, office supplies, credit card bills, phone bills, and whatever other expenses a business may incur through its operations.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Reconciling bank statements, contracts, and accounts to ensure accuracy.

    · Maintaining accurate records of all day-to-day financial transactions.

    · Create/logging financial transactions to accounting software from such source documents as invoices to customers, cash receipts, supplier invoices, etc.

    · Prepare necessary year-end reports and statements for tax purposes.

    · Manage daily timecards and execute payroll for the entire company.

    · Managing of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

    · Make recommendations to improve quality of invoicing and collections systems & procedures

    · Manage aging reports and collection process.

    · Prepare ad hoc financial documents at management request.

    · Monitor progress and changes and keep leadership well-informed of the Company’s financial status.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    · 2-4 years’ experience in Accounting/ Bookkeeping services

    · Experience using QuickBooks

    · Strong Communication skills

    · The ability to work from home 90% of the year

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · Experience with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Sell

    · Experience in Managed Service Providers (MSP)

    · Bachelor’s Degree
