Technical Inside Sales Representative Sierra Peaks has a need for a Technical Inside Sales Representative to support our Business Development team. This position requires a detail-oriented personality, strong organization skills and the ability to work both individually and as part of a team. If you’re a technical writer and strong communicator, this position is for you!
Job Responsibilities:
• Utilizing Sierra Peaks tools, draft manufacturing quotes and simple proposals for machined parts, cable assemblies, and similar components and subsystems • Utilizing Sierra Peaks tools, price manufacturing projects • Review customer purchase orders and contracts • Assist with sales activities including customer follow-up calls and scheduling of meetings • Track and document sales activities from leads to purchase orders • Manage administration of sales customer relationship management tool (Pipedrive) • Review Requests for Quotes and Proposals (RFQs/RFPs) from customers • Maintain customer and partner portals and documentation • Manage association memberships • Utilize Sierra Peaks sales processes and tools • Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience: 5+ years of estimating costs to build price proposals Must have strong writing skills including editing Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to read technical drawing, including mechanical and electrical drawings Experience with business development, sales, or marketing preferred
Required: Must be a US citizen Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
