    __SIERRA PIEDMONT ENGINEERS & GEOLOGISTS, an environmental consulting firm celebrating its 25th year in business is seeking to retain a committed professional with a passion for prospecting and mining (people and companies) to join our fast-paced and very effective team.  

    We're looking for a professional with energy, enthusiasm, and an unwavering ability to help us maintain our commitment of providing THE SUPERIOR CLIENT EXPERIENCE IN OUR INDUSTRY.  

    PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE POSITION IS:

    • Leading the research & prospecting effort for employee candidates, new clients, and potential corporate acquisition candidates.  
    • Evaluating, summarizing and presenting the best candidates to the appropriate manager of that initiative.   
    • Providing "first cut" inquiry to the various researched parties to evaluate their level of interest.

     

    CHARACTERISTICS OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE ARE:

    Research oriented, sales, or marketing background with 0-5 years of experience.  Be comfortable utilizing various internet based tools and software to perform and store research findings.  

    Be able to show solid examples of contributing in a professional services or business to business environment while exhibiting a high degree of self-direction and management.  

    The right candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, be detail oriented and well organized.  _ _

    OPPORTUNITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION ARE:

    You'll have the opportunity make a significant impact in the organization by managing and leading the firm's search as it relates to clients, employee's and potential acquisitions.  You'll interact with and be mentored in this effort with the strategic sales development manager, technical hiring managers, and President/CEO and have the opportunity to take your career and talents to the next level.

    DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • BA or BS from a 4-year university with an emphasis in marketing/sales
    • Research oriented
    • Competency with Excel, Word, Salesforce, recruiting software, LinkedIn and social media
    • Self directed and be able to report/present results weekly to team
