East Valley Sign Shop is currently seeking a dedicated FULL-TIME graphic designer, print and production team member to work with our sales team and customers to design, print, and install custom signage for clients. The ideal candidate will have a key understanding that we are a sales-driven organization with a dedication to client satisfaction, quality of finished products, and attention to detail. PREVIOUS SIGN PRINTING AND PRODUCTION OR RELATED FIELD EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. The graphic designer is responsible for producing all graphic design and job layouts in compliance with the work order specifications and/or manipulates customer artwork/files to become compatible with the design and RIP software. In addition, the Design Specialist will assist in manufacturing signs, installation of vehicle graphics, and any other sign projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF GRAPHIC DESIGN OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

• Previous experience in the sign industry is required.
• Knowledge of sign industry substrates, media, products is required.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Professional, clean, upbeat, positive attitude.
• Sharp attention to detail.
• Keen multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as an integral team member with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse customer/prospect base.
• Expertise in the following software applications:
• Adobe Illustrator -- current version (Creative Cloud)
• Adobe Photoshop -- current version (Creative Cloud)
• Adobe Acrobat Professional (Creative Cloud)
• Microsoft Office -- current version (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Office365

KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED:

• Expertise in operating and maintaining wide-format printers, flatbed printers (HP 700), HP Latex printers, and Laminators.
• Expertise in color management concepts and procedures.

IN ADDITION, THE DESIGN SPECIALIST WILL:

• Assisting clients in creating their designs.
• Have the ability to lift 50 lbs. without issue.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
