Growing South Windsor, CT manufacturer of high technology solutions for global food, pharma and chemical processing companies is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting the Customer Service Manager as well as helping customers by providing product and service information. This is an entry level position with an 8 week training program. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer the phone and route customer inquiries.
• Provide verbal and written information about the products and services.
• Contact customers regarding pending sales quotes.
• Document and update customer records based on interactions.
• Participate in weekly training sessions with Customer Service and Sales team members.

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
• Good listener, detail-oriented.
• Strong work ethic and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and complete tasks on time.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Excellent written, verbal and telephone communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office software. Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Opportunity exists for hours to increase to full-time based on department needs and your performance.
