    Sigma is currently looking for a PART-TIME EXECUTIVE SUPPORT ANALYST with Classified Matter Protection experience to provide part time operational, analytical, and administrative business support services to NNSA’s Office of the Executive Secretariat, Office of External Affairs and Office of Defense Programs. This position requires an experienced person with DEMONSTRATED CLASSIFIED MATERIALS HANDLING, superior professional demeanor, and the ability to learn and accomplish a wide variety of day-to-day responsibilities that enable program success. Key attributes include initiative as well as critical thinking to identify and prioritize actions to assist communications and routings. We are seeking people who thrive on the satisfaction of exceeding expectations through exhibiting technical excellence, integrity and quality. This is a part-time on-site position located in the Department of Energy (DOE) Washington, D.C. Forrestal building and in the DOE Germantown, MD, building.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Track, handle, process, package, classified and unclassified correspondence/documents according to all relevant DOE and Federal regulations.
    • Correspondence pick up and messenger services for NA-1 at Forrestal and Germantown.
    • Document reproduction, packaging, and transmittal, and related support.
    • Records and file management according to all Federal records guidelines and requirements, to include proper disposal according to security requirements.
    • Correspondence analysis and processing for all incoming mail, packages, and documents requiring Administrator or Secretarial signature, to include internal and external requirements.
    • Conference management processing and approvals.
    • Writing, editing, tracking, and processing internal communications for NNSA across multiple platforms.
    • Website maintenance.
    • Provide strategic communications support.
    • Provide digital communications and product development support.
    • Provided event support.
    • Special external communications related projects, and any other needs, as required for the Office of the Executive Secretariat, the Office of External Affairs and the Office of Defense Programs.

    WHAT YOU NEED (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

    • Minimum Associate’s degree with 8-10 years of relevant experience; experience may substitute for degree.
    • Active DOE Q or DoD TS clearance or an inactive DOE Q or DoD TS clearance that was terminated within the last 12 months.
    • Experience with the Classified Matter Protection and Control section of the DOE Headquarters Facilities Master Security Plan (or similar DOD directives.)
    • Expert knowledge and demonstrated ability to respond to inquiries pertaining to classified document markings and accountability requirements.
    • Ability to multi-task and identify priorities, communicate those priorities, and reprioritize as necessary.
    • Excellent, demonstrable technical writing and editing skills.
    • Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
    • Good presentation and research skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

    DESIRED:

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • Previous experience handing inter-governmental communications (e.g., DOE, DoD, White House, Congress, etc.)
    • Knowledge of NNSA, its missions, leadership, offices, and responsibilities.
    • Related experience in a Federal Government organization (DOE, DOS, DoD, or one of the Intelligence Agencies.)
