SIGN DESIGNER/CUSTOMER SERVICE REP supporting Project Management This person works as an assistant to our team of project managers for sign proposals and is also in contact with existing and potential clients for project communication, scheduling and ensuring their satisfaction is guaranteed. If you have a knowledge of graphic design and are an outgoing person who wants to learn a trade, this position may be for you.
Daily activities include attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions to clients, prepare quotes, process sales & purchase orders, prepares graphical sign designs for interior and exterior applications and assists production with files for printing and machining. The candidate might have a diploma in marketing and has worked in sales recently or a customer service role, or has knowledge of, and an interest in, graphic design but is a people person and prefers interaction with clients on a daily basis.
Previous work experience in the sign industry is not required. Product and process training shall be provided. Potential to advance to project management or office management.
Job functions:
Source sales opportunities through inbound leads, follow up and outbound calls.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Manage incoming calls, ability to handle client inquiries
Identify and assess customers' needs
Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and follow up to insure resolution
Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
Go the extra mile to engage customers
POS system customer data entry, provision of quote proposals, customer follow up
Manage customer lead times, coordinate and schedule all installations
Work alongside project managers on multiple projects
Document and manage all KPI’s
Sell products and services
Requirements:
Possess powers of persuasion, work well in a team environment
Experience with using either Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw preferred. Background in online marketing and/or social media a plus.
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
