About the Role:
Pathfinder Signs & Marketing is growing! We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Carpenter/Sign Installer to join our team. We are looking for a qualified Carpenter/Sign installer to cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. Your job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Painting and finish coatings are a plus, ability to paint. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the production and installation for our wonderful clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install indoor and outdoor signage at client locations.
Apply vinyl graphics on walls, windows.
Wood working skills- ability to use basic wood tools and hand tools
Load, transport, and unload materials and tools.
Ensure accurate placement and alignment based on specs.
Maintain clean and safe job sites.
Communicate clearly with clients and teammates.
Read drawings and sketches to fully grasp requirements
Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed
Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurement
Note - The position requires the ability to operate a company vehicle for work-related purposes. Therefore, all applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. If an employee who is required to have a valid driver's license loses their license for any reason or cannot be added to the company's insurance policy, they may be demoted to a non-driving position or terminated at the company's discretion. We may perform a background driving record check, as well as a full background check to verify driving and personal records. You will be required to consent to background checks.
Requirements (key requirements, not complete list):
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record free of any DUI charges within the past 5 years and no more than 2 points on the license & reliable transportation
Comfortable with power tools and ladders
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
Basic math and measuring skills
Must be a minimum age of 25 years old, and be able to qualify for our company vehicle insurance.
Additional Skills we are looking for in our next star hire:
Proven experience as carpenter
Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials
Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
Ability to follow directions in English, and bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Good understanding of basic math
Good physical condition and endurance
One year experience minimum

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Esta persona será responsable de cortar, fabricar e instalar estructuras de madera y otros materiales según especificaciones. El trabajo se desarrollará en diversos entornos para producir estructuras e instalaciones funcionales y estables. El candidato ideal tendrá conocimientos sólidos de las propiedades de la madera y otros materiales de carpintería. Se valorará experiencia en pintura y acabados. Es importante poder trabajar con mínima supervisión y respetando todas las normas de salud y seguridad. Nuestro objetivo es ofrecer productos e instalaciones de calidad para nuestros excelentes clientes.
Trabajarás solo o en equipo para asegurar que cada instalación se realice de forma limpia, segura y puntual.
Responsabilidades Principales:
Instalar rótulos interiores y exteriores en las ubicaciones de los clientes.
Aplicar gráficos de vinil en paredes y ventanas.
Habilidades en carpintería: uso de herramientas básicas de madera y herramientas manuales.
Cargar, transportar y descargar materiales y herramientas.
Asegurar la colocación y alineación precisa según las especificaciones.
Mantener áreas de trabajo limpias y seguras.
Comunicarse claramente con clientes y compañeros de equipo.
Leer planos y bocetos para comprender completamente los requisitos.
Tomar medidas y calcular el tamaño y la cantidad de materiales necesarios.
Cortar, dar forma y alisar madera u otros materiales (por ejemplo, fibra de vidrio) según las medidas.
Nota: El puesto requiere la capacidad de operar un vehículo de la empresa para fines laborales. Por lo tanto, todos los solicitantes deben tener una licencia de conducir válida y un historial de conducción limpio. Habilidades Adicionales que Valoramos en Nuestro Próximo candidato estrella:
Experiencia comprobada como carpintero.
Experiencia práctica con materiales de carpintería.
Excelente comprensión de técnicas de carpintería e instalación.
Manejo de equipos eléctricos y manuales (sierras eléctricas, martillos, reglas, etc.).
Disposición para seguir las normas de seguridad en todo momento.
Capacidad para seguir instrucciones en inglés; ser bilingüe (español) es una ventaja.
Buen manejo de matemáticas básicas.
Buena condición física y resistencia.
Mínimo un año de experiencia en un rol similar.
