Experienced Sign Installation Technician
We are seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join our team installing commercial signage and structural sign systems at job sites across multiple states.
This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have prior experience working in construction, signage installation, structural installation, or a related trade and be comfortable working at heights, operating equipment, and completing physically demanding work in a safely environment.
Travel to job sites in multiple states will be required, including occasional overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
• Install a wide range of commercial signage including channel letters, monument signs, digital displays, and architectural elements • Assemble, weld, secure, and mount structural sign components and fixtures • Read blueprints and installation drawings to ensure proper placement and structural integrity • Coordinate and dig footings and complete concrete work per specifications • Perform electrical wiring for signs when permitted and required • Operate construction equipment such as bucket trucks, boom lifts, cranes, and forklifts • Conduct site surveys and take accurate field measurements • Load, transport, and unload materials safely • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site • Work at heights using ladders, lifts, and fall protection equipment • Travel to job sites across multiple states as projects require
You’ll receive hands-on training in our installation techniques and sign systems so you can build confidence quickly.
What We’re Looking For
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in signage installation, construction, structural installation, or a related skilled trade • Experience using power tools and construction equipment • Ability to lift 80 lbs and perform physically demanding work • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions • Ability to read basic blueprints or installation drawings • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Ability to travel for projects including occasional overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
The following experience is highly valued:
• Welding experience or certification • Experience operating bucket trucks, boom lifts, cranes, or rough terrain forklifts • Chauffeur license or ability to obtain one • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification • Experience with large-scale or complex installations
