Signworks of Michigan, Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality signage solutions for businesses and organizations across Michigan and surrounding states. We specialize in designing, fabricating, and installing a wide range of signs including channel letters, monument signs, vinyl graphics, and more. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Sign Installer to join our growing team.
**Job Responsibilities:
**
- Install various types of signs including indoor/outdoor, illuminated, non-illuminated, vinyl, and dimensional signage.
- Safely operate power tools, ladders, bucket trucks, and other equipment as needed.
- Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and blueprints.
- Prepare surfaces and ensure proper installation techniques are used.
- Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with OSHA regulations.
**Qualifications:
**
- Experience in sign installation, construction, or related field preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Must be comfortable working at heights and using ladders or lifts.
- Experience with power tools is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL a plus).
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus (for illuminated sign installation).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
