Installation Specialist position available in Holland, MI, US. Assist with the production and installation of custom commercial signs. Work with Signs Now - Holland, a leader in the industry for over 30 years. Responsible for the production, assembly, and installation of interior and exterior signage. Responsibilities: • Working with and reporting to the production manager • Preparing substrates, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning surfaces for application • Applying printed graphics to multiple material surfaces in-house (Signs Now Center) and at customer locations • Surveying customer sites prior to sign installation • Installing interior ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and Wayfinding signage • Installing sign panels and graphics on exterior monuments, posts & panels, and building surfaces • Willing and able to work in interior office spaces and exterior site locations as required by the project • Working independently or with a team, depending on the project type • Assisting in maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and appearance of the shop space • Managing and maintaining proper care of company vehicles and tools • This position may include additional responsibilities assigned by the company • Maintain organized work area and uphold professional standards Qualifications: • Ability to work within a team environment • Previous experience with light fabrication equipment such as printers, routers, plotters, and engraving machines. Not required, will train if necessary • Strong communication and customer service skills • Professional, upbeat, positive attitude • Close attention to accuracy and detail • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team • Engage with customers while representing the company in a professional manner • Comfortable with heights - working on lifts/ladders is required • Valid driver's license required • Ability to use and read a tape measure with precision • Comfortable with the safe use of simple hand tools, such as drills, saws, screwdrivers, utility knives, etc. • Knowledge of sign industry basic materials and products is a plus - training will be provided • Knowledge or ability to learn to perform simple and complex sign and graphics installations at the customer’s site • Interest in learning new skills while performing tasks Compensation: $16 - $18.50 hourly
