    Key Responsibilities:

    Design and produce custom signage using various materials (acrylic, aluminum, PVC, vinyl, wood).

    Assemble signs, including hardware and electrical components for illuminated signage.

    Print, cut, laminate, and apply vinyl for custom signage using wide-format printers, plotters, and laminators.

    Use rollover tables or application tables to apply vinyl to substrates such as acrylic, PVC, aluminum, and coroplast.

    Weed, mask, and prep vinyl graphics for installation or delivery.

    Install vinyl signs on various surfaces including glass, walls, vehicles, floors, and rough-textured substrates.

    Install interior and exterior signs safely and accurately, including elevated installations using ladders or lifts (as needed)

    Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the vinyl production and installation process.

    Read and interpret job sheets, proofs, and production files to ensure project accuracy.

    Maintain and troubleshoot wide-format printers, plotters, laminators, and application equipment.

    Maintain a clean, organized work environment and ensure equipment is in good working condition.

    Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain high production standards.

    Interface professionally with customers when required, including on-site installation support.

    Track job progress, maintain records, and ensure projects are completed on time.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum 3–5 years of experience in vinyl sign production, printing, and installation.

    Proficient in operating wide-format printers (e.g., HP Latex, Roland), plotter cutters (e.g., Graphtec, Summa), laminators and associated software (Onyx).

    Skilled in rollover and manual vinyl application techniques.

    Experienced with vinyl weeding, masking, and substrate preparation.

    Comfortable applying vinyl to flat, curved, and complex surfaces (e.g., walls, windows, vehicles).

    Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator) and RIP software (e.g., FlexiPrint, VersaWorks).

    Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage multiple jobs.

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical installation work, including ladders or lift-based applications (as needed).

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits or installs (as needed).

    Preferred (Not Required):

    Experience with CNC routing (e.g., VCarve, EnRoute), tool setup, and material prep.

    Familiar with electrical assembly for illuminated or LED signage.

    Certified vinyl installer (e.g., 3M, Avery, Orafol).

    Familiar with sign-specific software such as FlexiSign or CorelDRAW.

    OSHA certification or formal safety training.

    Compensation

    $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

    Hourly rate negotiable based on overall experience, skills and capabilities
