    Job Description

    Signal 88 Security of DFW is looking for an experienced Field Manager to join the team.  You will be a critical teammate in our Operations department, and help foster the growth and culture of our entire team.  

    JOB DUTIES:

    • Responsible for monitoring and assisting in the overall quality of operations including, but not limited to, the supervision, motivation, training and development of Officers. 
    • Immediately reports any pertinent information involving personnel or client site issues  
    • The Field Manager must be an available resource to all Patrol and Dedicated Officers 24-hours a day for any issues or questions that arise  
    • Available to work extended hours, flex days off if needed, and respond off-duty if needed  
    • Conducts random spot checks/inspections of various posts to ensure officers are properly performing duties and assigned tasks, and complying with dress and appearance policies  
    • Works directly with the Operations Manager to monitor the workload of each Patrol Officer.  
    • Contribute in the development, administration and implementation of training programs 
    • Responsible for the daily auditing of the quality of work of officers.  
    • Audits the Lead/Sr. Officer’s efforts to spot check and inspect officers working at various sites throughout the city and fully documenting these spot checks.  
    • Oversees the Lead Patrol Officers efforts to maintain the cleanliness of all Signal 88 patrol equipment, including the vehicles, the laptops and any other equipment used in the field by officers.  
    • Ensures all activities are conducted according to the Signal 88 SOP, as well as applicable state and federal laws.  
    • Monitors the present policies, procedures and practices of Signal 88 and makes recommendations for processes modifications to the Director of Operations  
    • Performs periodic reviews of all Patrol Officers and makes recommendations concerning promotions or any other Human Resources issues  
    • Assist with managing scheduling and filling open shifts, by responding immediately to open shifts and making phone calls to cover the openings as needed

     

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Minimum of 5 years of security leadership experience required 
    • Must have a flexible schedule to work some overnights, afternoons, weekends and holidays 
    • Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred
    • Supervisory and scheduling experience required 
    • Prior Military or Law Enforcement experience highly desired 
    • Prior experience within the Private Security industry (physical guarding, camera systems & monitoring, etc.)
    • Must be eligible to work within the US for any employer
    • Must have a state issued Driver’s License and clean driving record 
    • Must present a professional image and have excellent communication skills
    • Must have reliable transportation
