Signarama Carpentersville is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Sign Production & Installation Specialist to join our growing team. This hands-on role involves both in-house production and on-site installation of a wide range of signage. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-focused, and enjoys a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate wide-format printers, laminators, plotters, saws, and other production equipment

Assist with the fabrication and assembly of signs in various formats and materials

Perform on-site installations of signage including vinyl graphics, dimensional lettering, building signs, post & panel signs, and monument signs

Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe workspace

Interact with clients professionally during installation projects

Monitor inventory and assist in maintaining adequate material stock levels

Qualifications:

Experience in sign installation, construction, or a related trade (electrical, welding, etc.) is preferred but not required

Proficiency with hand and power tools, and ability to safely operate equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications accurately

Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and self-starting attitude

Comfortable using computers and willing to learn production-related software

Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset

Physically fit to handle manual tasks, including lifting over 50–80 lbs and working at heights (e.g., ladders, lifts)
