Seeking an experienced professional with prior history in similar functions to serve as Accounts Payable Specialist depending on experience and help manage subcontractor payroll and corporate account purchases/payments and office duties.

Candidates with no prior assistant/accounts payable/purchasing experience will not be considered

Responsibilities:

• Invoice and process subcontractor payroll on BRIX Software Platform
• Data Entry of Expenses in Quickbooks and BRIX Software for different construction entities and Issue payment to vendors, banks, credit cards and utilities for jobsites
• Maintain documents and insurances for all subcontractors and vendors
• Resolve purchase order, contract, invoice or payment discrepancies and documentation and issue stop-payment or purchase order amendments
• Issue employee reimbursements
• Reconcile credit card and bank statements
• Maintain inputting deposits
• Maintain City of Houston Online Permits SR Account
• Perform other HR duties as required, including, but not limited to, tracking PTO
• Perform other administrative office duties as required including, but not limited to, managing office site and supplies, filing, notarization, etc.

Skills:

• Experience in Purchasing and/or Accounts Payable within the construction industry strongly preferred. Candidates with this experience will be highly considered.
• 10+ years Microsoft Excel and other Office products
• STRONG ATTENTION TO DETAIL. TYPOS, CLEANLINESS, HIGHLY ORGANIZED.
• Experience with BRIX preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational and management skills
• Highly professional with strong communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• High integrity and work ethic
• Possesses good judgment and common sense
• Ability to recognize and resolve problems
• Fluent in Spanish preferred but not necessary.
• Notary public certified a bonus.
