ABOUT THE ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT POSITION
We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to help our Accounting Manager with administrative and accounting tasks. The position will start out mostly helping the Accounting Manager with more administrative tasks, such as answers phone calls, emails, etc., but has the possibility of growing into doing more bookkeeping tasks as time goes on.
The ideal candidate will be personable, self-motivated, adaptable, and trustworthy. Your responsibilities will vary on a day-to-day basis but will include answering homeowner ledger questions, answering accounts payable questions, reviewing and scanning the mail, assisting in bank deposits, and other accounting related administrative tasks. Tasks may expand to include managing financial records, creating reports, reconciling bank statements, and other accounting/bookkeeping responsibilities upon experience with our company.
We expect you to be familiar with accounting procedures, have strong numerical skills, and have strong computer skills.
