    LOCATION: BURBANK, CA (TEMPORARILY REMOTE)

    STATUS: FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT

    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are in search of an experienced/knowledgeable, team oriented, and motivated PORTFOLIO MANAGER to work in our Burbank Office. The PORTFOLIO MANAGER will be responsible for maintaining and increasing agent/merchant satisfaction by providing white-glove support, ensuring portfolio retention and profitability, deepening relationships, and actively pursuing sales leads.

    The PORTFOLIO MANAGER role is meant for individuals that want to make a real impact in payment services and are not afraid to recommend solutions to help keep the sales team and agents/merchants in sync. The ideal candidate has a passion for people and actively engages with and listens to agent/merchant needs and aspirations, pays attention to detail, has an ability to multi-task, manages time effectively, and can learn new systems quickly and effectively. The ideal candidate also has excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work within a team and can work well in a fast-paced environment.  Must be proficient in using computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

     

    POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    ·         Identify agent/merchant needs and deliver results-driven solutions.

    ·         Foster and deepen relationships with agents/merchants.

    ·         Maintain a proactive approach and anticipate issues that may prevent cancellations.

    ·         Resolve agent/partner issues in a timely manner and act as a point of escalation for the Customer and Technical Support teams.

    ·         Communicate with agents/merchants regarding new and existing products, processing platforms, and value-added products.

    ·         Hold agents accountable to timelines and guidelines spelled out in agent agreements.

    ·         Enhance customer experience by strategically working with agents/merchants.

    ·         Maintain necessary documentation/information within Signature Payments systems.

    ·         Review and analyze data related to profitability; notice trends by reviewing pricing and statements.

    ·         Identify and follow through with sales leads and opportunities and write merchant accounts.

    ·         Champion ideas and initiatives designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness to increase satisfaction of the overall customer experience.

    ·         Work with other departments to drive outcomes that support both sales department goals and overall company goals.

    ·         Perform other duties and assignments as necessary, and in accordance with established Company mission and values.

                                                                                                                                                                                              

    IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE/HAVE:

    ·         Minimum of 3 years of experience in payments or merchant services required.

    ·         High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in business preferred.

    ·         Excellent listening, face to face, and verbal communication skills; friendly, approachable, and professional customer service attitude.

    ·         Excellent written communication skills; ability to read, write, and comprehend.

    ·         Effective and comprehensive computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); including strong Excel skills and report generation.

    ·         Must have the ability to use or adapt to new computer programs, software, equipment, and/or hardware.

    ·         Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; uses time efficiently in a rapidly changing environment.

    ·         Ability to work independently and exercise initiative and good judgment.

    ·         In addition to English, multilingual (Vietnamese and/or Spanish) preferred.

     

    COMPENSATION RANGE

    Pay is commensurate with prior experience, education, and abilities.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    As a PORTFOLIO MANAGER, you will regularly be required to: work at a desk, conference table and work at a computer for extended periods of time. You will be frequently required to walk, sit, stand, and occasionally may be required to lift-up to 10 pounds unassisted.
