    Job Description

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are in search of an energetic, outgoing, and experienced CORPORATE SALES person to work in our Burbank Office. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and financially driven individual with strong experience in corporate level sales; an insurance, finance, or payments industry B2B (business to business) sales background is a strong plus! The ideal candidate is a self-starter in terms of prospecting leads and business opportunities. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to work within a team and be collaborative while being able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be proficient in using computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

     

    POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Identify and sign new large volume clients through existing and newly researched contacts.
    • Responsible for prospecting (hunting) for new business opportunities and lead generation to sign on new clients.
    • Support the SVP of Sales by collaborating to develop creative and innovative methods of acquiring new business to meet or exceed department and/or company goals.
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry trends and developments.
    • Collaborate with the SVP of Sales and the VP of Marketing and Product to develop sales presentations and procedures including tools to assist new and existing clients better understand our industry and our Company.
    • Expect to travel in order to visit prospects and clients.
    • May be required to travel in order to attend industry conferences, trade shows, and meetings as assigned or required.
    • May be required to work outside of normal business hours depending on the operational demands/business need.
    • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
    • Perform other duties and assignments as assigned in accordance with established Company mission and values.

     

    IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

    • 10+ years of proven business development experience selling services is required; an insurance, finance, or payments industry B2B (business to business) sales background is a strong plus!
    • Combination of service & products sales experience will also be considered.
    • Must have experience selling to medium and large size businesses; ideally retailers and restaurants.
    • Must be able to network with decision makers; ideally has an established network of decision maker contacts.
    • Experience with multi-stage selling to individuals and groups.
    • Excellent listening, face to face, and verbal communication skills; friendly, approachable, and professional customer service attitude.
    • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; uses time efficiently in a rapidly changing environment.
    • Ability to work independently and exercise initiative and good judgment.
    • Effective and comprehensive computer skills including Microsoft Office or equivalent (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Must have the ability to use or adapt to new computer programs, software, equipment, and/or hardware.
    • A ‘will to win’ attitude balanced with a proven record of long-term relationship building skills.
    • Must work well in a team environment, but also strong self-directed/motivation skills required
    • Bilingual/Spanish speaking and comprehension ability preferred.

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

    • At least 10 years of proven business development experience selling services is required.
    • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Marketing; equivalent experience in related field preferred.

     

    COMPENSATION RANGE:

    • Salary is commensurate with prior experience, education, and abilities.
      • Commissions Structure.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    As a Signature Card Services CORPORATE SALES person you will regularly be required to: work at a desk, conference table and work at a computer for extended periods of time. You will be regularly required to walk, sit, stand, and occasionally may be required to lift up to 10 pounds unassisted.
