    Seeking experienced Communication and Security Technicians for opportunities to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, voice/data cables and closet build outs. The ideal candidate must possess the following: Technicians MUST have experience working with various cables that include, but are not limited to: twisted pair, coax, power limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, Category 5, Category 6, single and multi -mode fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling. Knowledge of Telecom, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection systemsss Control systems, TCP/IP networks, and wireless solutions required. Experience installing electronic whiteboards, screens, projectors, speakers, and other AV devices We are looking for individuals who will pay attention to detail and work efficiently under minimal supervision. Must pass drug and background checks. Job Responsibilities: Maintaining professional attitude and delivering excellent customer service; Planning and preparing for cable installation by reading and interpreting job reference material, selecting hand/power tools and testing equipment; Performing cable installation inside and outside plants, installing pulling medium in cable pathways, laying out and installing cable and supports, inspecting and preparing cables for installation, and installing fiber backbone and copper cables, horizontal cables and fire stop systems; Terminating/ splicing cables by installing mounting equipment, fiber and copper terminating and splicing components, electrical protection equipment, grounding, bonding connections/cables, cross connecting and patching cables; Perform labeling, testing, and documentation by labeling cable systems; Installing cable systems/hardware, coaxial cable systems, equipment connecting cables and fiber optic systems; Cabling, installing, testing, and troubleshooting various types of video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control and audio/visual equipment; Mounting electronic whiteboards, screens, projectors, speakers, and other devices as well as Installing software on Windows based personal computers (PC’s); Performing professional business practices and effective communication with customers; Meeting installation deadlines and schedules; Accurately tracking time sheets; Maintaining full compliance with company and customer’s safety program; Completing training programs from manufacturers, industry associations, distributors, and company as required; and

    Preferred Experience Structured Cabling Cabling Cable Technician Audio Visual Installation

    Advance experience (NOT REQUIRED BUT A PLUS): 5+ year(s) of commercial structured cabling, access control, securities integration, or electrical experience. BICSI Technician and/or CTS certification ESA Certifications Solid base knowledge of conduits.
