Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Strong object-oriented programming skills with knowledge in data structures and algorithms, including Python
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
• Interest in Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Computer Vision for GIS applications
• Knowledge in developing and validating ML models
• Knowledge of Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and Keras

Education and Experiences

B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical field

Skills and Qualifications

• Assist in the design and development of scalable solutions that leverage machine learning including models, systems, tools, and scripts
• Assist in the implementation of machine learning algorithms
• Execute machine learning tests and experiments
• Run experiments in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional team members to ensure the success of Machine Learning projects
• Continuously improve quality and impact of ML systems through iterative releases throughout the ML development lifecycle
• Assist with establishing best practices for deploying robust, maintainable ML systems
• Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and scalability

The Location

Silent Falcon is located in Front Royal, VA and Albuquerque, NM. While both locations are great places to live, you can work remotely within the continental United States. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.
