Summary:

Lead QC Technicians & In-Process Quality Control to assist Manufacturing in resolving quality related issues, and coordinate scheduling of dimensional inspection requests. Complete projects assigned through either QC Engineer or QC Manager in a timely and accurate fashion. Lead efforts in Quality Control on the Manufacturing floor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist manufacturing with quality matters.
• Provide leadership and supervision to QC Technician & In-Process Quality Control.
• Assist with product or system audits as required.
• Collect and organize quality data and issue reports of this information to QC Engineer &/or QC Manager.
• Assist technicians with day-to-day requirements as required.
• Review and generate documentation as required in the areas of inspection, calibration, test methods, and product specification.
• Monitor the calibration system for the Grandview plant.
• Leads shift employees in the Quality Control Department including: planning, assigning, and directing work; training employees; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Must follow all work rules and policies.

Requirements and Qualifications : Must have the ability to lead a diverse team. Some essential skills for this job include; Proactive, self-driven, with problem solving skills. Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer skills with Excel, Microsoft Word, preferred SPC-PCIV
