Job Description

A leading New Home Builder is seeking a Warranty Representative in the Sacramento area. This position provides support to the New Home construction warranty Department. In addition to ensuring that the company meets all warranty obligations to each new homeowner, this person works with Trade Partners and communicates to ensure all warranty issues are handled. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain effective communications with internal and external customers.
• Perform Quality Control Inspections.
• Manage and ensure completion of homeowner warranty issues within a timely manner by interacting on a daily basis.
• Perform New Home Orientations and educate buyers on components of their home and the Warranty Program.
• Responsible for accurate and complete documentation in homeowner file
• Receive written work orders for repairs to homes and/or verbal instructions from supervisor.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to meet planning and community goals.
• Process data daily and records the information in an online tracking system.
• Assign work to Trades and follow up on scheduled Trade appointments with homeowners.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS • 1 or more years of builder WARRANTY customer service experience • Computer literate in MS Suite, Excel, Word, Outlook, high-end computer user a plus • Valid driver’s license and vehicle for use during business hours, Pass a background check / Drug Screen
