We are seeking a ".com" Business Services Analyst to join our long-standing team to support our Automotive OEM client's Business IT. This .com Business Services Analyst will support a Sr. Manager of Interactive Marketing team and will be stationed at the Corporate Office in Orange County, CA. This position will help with the consumer-facing website initiatives and also work cross functionally with Marketing and business partners on activities to achieve brand vision and objectives.

This is currently a FULL REMOTE POSITION (due to COVID) and will transition to PARTIAL REMOTE/PARTIAL ONSITE (ETA SEPTEMBER).

Job Requirements, Experience, Degrees, and Details:

• Proficient in experience and skill Business Requirements gathering as an IT Business Analyst.
• Experience of delivering digital projects, either as a member of IT, or as a key lead from within a Digital Marketing function or the business.
• Consumer-facing website or .com project experience a must.
• Minimum 5-8 years as a Business Services Analyst in a fast paced work environment.
• Experience working across multiple functional areas.
• Interactive or digital marketing background preferred.
• Automotive background preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree (business or IT) preferred.

Software/Technical Expertise and Skills:

• Proficient in various Business Analyst tools across IT Enterprise.
• Proficient in interpreting and communicating business requirements into actionable specifications for front-end and back-end development teams.
• Proficient in SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Crafting requirements (user stories, detailed functional specs), process diagrams, user and test cases, systems documentation.
• Ability to facilitate and guide Wireframe and Prototyping: Visio, Invision, Database and SQL knowledge preferred.
• Very familiar with Adobe AEM web CMS and other .com related software or tools is preferred.
• Jira and Confluence experience a must.
• Expert level in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Visio, Project, SharePoint and Outlook.

Soft skills:

• Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a self-starter approach and outgoing personality.
• Requires multi-tasking skills with self-organization, prioritization and time-management.
• Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Expert in writing business and/or technical requirement documents and communicate requirements with the business stakeholders.
• Must be detailed oriented.
• Knowledgeable in web development process.
• Knowledgeable in data content management system.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and instruction.
• Requires positive and proactive attitude.

Here is what a typical day would be like for this important position:

• Work closely with the Product Owners, Project Managers, and Specialists/SMEs to interview, review, analyze, develop business requirements, wireframes and storyboards for website redesign projects.
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally, through written and verbal communication in technical and business terms as needed.
• Coordinate as .com Business Services Analyst with Interactive Marketing and interrelated departments, Marketing Agency, IT , and 3rd Party Vendors.
• Provide timely, accurate and complete documents and/or artifacts as needed and required.
• Coordinate/review UAT test plans, use cases, and test scripts as needed; may need to generate for some cases.
• Assist user testing as required and needed; UAT, End-to-End Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Production Validation Testing, System Integration Testing, etc.
