POSITION: BUYER
LOCATION: TULSA, OK
WORK TYPE: FULL-TIME, ONSITE

POSITION SUMMARY :
As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing supplier relationships and ensuring the efficient procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Procure materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
- Prepare RFQ’s. Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best deals while ensuring the highest quality of products and services.
- Manage all supplier-related activities, including evaluating vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers. You will have the authority to commit company resources and maintain strong, productive relationships with our vendors.
- Utilize your skills to forecast data, monitor and address supplier quality and delivery performance, and track internal demand and material assets. This will help us optimize our purchases and maintain an efficient supply chain.
- Work closely with internal customers and suppliers, including your Project Manager, incorporating planning decisions to reduce material and product variability, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our organization.
Requirements:
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- 3-5 years of related experience as a Buyer or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in a related industry.
- Previous Buying experience in a manufacturing setting is a big plus.
- Demonstrated integrity with strong business and personal ethics.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
