SUMMARY: 

Silk Road Medical is looking for motivated and driven students to join our summer internship program (Summer@the Road)!  Interns will have an opportunity to work on meaningful projects and get hands-on experience in a professional business setting.  You’ll build your resume while making new connections, sharpening the skills you need to succeed in a future career, and performing important project work that contributes to the success of the company.  Interns will be part of a cohort that will meet regularly throughout the summer.

In this position you will work within the Silk Road Medical Commercial Operations – Customer Success organization. 

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES: 

This intern will work closely with the Customer Success team and be focused on Customer Data Management. 

• Analyze data for gaps and inaccuracies
• Research and make recommendations on data corrections
• Assist with data imports, quality checks, and verification of customer data
• Gain experience with multiple systems such as QAD and Salesforce.com
• Work closely with cross-functional colleagues
• All other duties as assigned.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Enrollment in a post-secondary program pursuing a Bachelor's and starting either Junior or Senior year
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; with emphasis on Excel proficiency
• Effective organizational and problem-solving skills 
• Excellent written and oral and skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Strong work ethic
