JOB OVERVIEW: Atlas is seeking a rational, detail-oriented candidate to work as a Regional Director of Business Development on our Logistics team! This position will be responsible for developing and managing the growth of Atlas Logistics business development efforts in the following four key areas: carrier development, agent business development support, develop revenue opportunities with 3PL’s for STG fleet and Atlas Logistics, and develop new business for Atlas Logistics.

This position’s duties include the following:

• Selling direct account business for Atlas Logistics
• Assisting and supporting Atlas agents with business development efforts including but not limited to sales support, creating client solutions and helping to identify cross selling opportunities with the agent’s existing client base
• Developing business with 3PL’s and carriers that will create new revenue opportunities for STG and Atlas Logistics (revenue goals will be established based upon assigned territory)
• Developing new carrier relationships for Atlas Logistics to expand operating capacity and reduce costs
• Securing reciprocal business form carriers to create new revenue.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE & HOURS: This full-time, exempt position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F. Possible overtime.
