The Service Tech is responsible for the operations of water treatment devices in the field, including installation, troubleshooting, customer service, maintenance, and technical support. Essential Functions 1. Installs Silver Bullet Water Treatment products at customer locations. 2. Takes regularly scheduled water samples and provides ongoing service and maintenance to existing customers. 3. Performs site surveys and evaluations for potential customers; provides suggestions on how best to provide effective water treatment solutions to customer. 4. Report any technical and customer problems found in the field. 5. Provide professional customer service to all new and existing customers. Competencies 1. Technical Knowledge 2. Time Management Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment This job requires significant travel to customer locations. These include farms, buildings, horticulture facilities and any other physical locations a customer may be at. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. The employee also must be able to use their hands and arms to operate tools, computers, and vehicles. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a Part Time position. Typical work week is Monday - Friday, hours will vary. Travel Travel is a significant requirement of this position, and the employee will be expected to travel to various regions throughout the defined territory.
