    Summary: This position is responsible for all Payroll administrative functions and support under limited supervision.

    Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities): The primary duties consist of but are not limited to the following.

    Responsible for Payroll processing Semi-monthly & Monthly, including compiling, verifying calculations and reports for accuracy as well as all related record keeping of multiple pay types including commission, bonus, piece rate, exempt, non-exempt and to be able to categorize individuals accordingly.

    Responsible for verifying third party processed payroll tax duties; tax deposits and filing, quarterly returns, annual returns.

    Responsible for verifying & coordination third party produced ACA 1095 reporting

    Responsible to keep abreast of Federal and State requirements in the field of payroll and labor laws to keep practices & procedures compliant.

    Responsible for all in house; termination final pay calculation, insurance, and benefits from enrollment to billing, workers comp, 401K contribution submissions. Various Payroll accounting & expensing responsibilities.

    Performs other tasks as assigned or dictated by position.

    Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience Necessary: Minimum five years general office and accounting experience.

    Language Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

    Physical Demands: Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.

    Work Environment: General office environment.

    Must possess supervisory skills and be able to effectively direct the work of others.

    Must have working knowledge by a combination of experience and training of general accounting procedures and computer accounting applications.

    Must be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and handle confidential information with utmost discretion.

    Must have the ability to report for work on time, follow directions, interact effectively with co-workers, understand, and follow rules and procedures and accept constructive criticism.

    Physical & Mental Demands: The following physical and mental demands consist of but are not limited to the following.

    Must be able to work in a sitting or standing position for extended periods of time (at desk, while driving) in an office and car lot environment

    Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions

    Ability to bend, pull, stoop and reach to perform functions

    Ability to lift 25-30 lbs.

    May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, and humidity, etc.

    Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions

    Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing

    Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.

    Ability to hear in person and via phone
