    Asset Management Analyst Position

    Company Profile: SIMPATICA owns and operates avocado and citrus ranches throughout Ventura county, Santa Barbra county, and Riverside county. SIMPATICA is actively growing within the avocado and citrus growing regions and is looking to aggressively expand agriculturally throughout the United States.

    The Analyst position is a salaried employee and reports to the Chief Executive Officer at the Westlake Village office located at 699 Hampshire Road, Suite 107, Westlake Village, CA 91361. The Analyst will work out of this location and will have a private office.

    Essential Functions:

    Project and compare actual revenues and expenditures for each property; compare in consultation with Chief Executive Officer, Director of Farming Operations and Bookkeeper.

    Track and collect all management fees, acquisition fees, development fees, and revenues per asset/contract with all partnerships and business entities.

    Work with the Chief Executive Officer in conducting detail analysis in the feasibility of property acquisitions, including tax impacts and structuring, underwriting, and real estate income and valuation estimates.

    Review deal term sheets and offering documents to understand key deal terms related to payment waterfall, deal performance triggers, and rights and authorities of key parties.

    Organize and present data analysis, draw objective conclusions, and make recommendations for modeling parameters and assumptions for pro formas on prospective acquisitions.

    Assist in due diligence research for any new crop or property in escrow; map and pull and maintain property titles for all Simpatica ranches and prospective properties and provide acreage and related data.

    Coordinate related escrow and bank information as approved by team members, signatory authority, and fulfill additional underwriting requirements as part of risk assessment and escrow requirements for property acquisitions and analysis.

    Compile monthly reporting, ongoing portfolio analysis, quarterly investor reports, cash equity positions, and year end budget review and projections for all managed assets for institutional investors by working with the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Farming Operations.

    Work with external auditors and CPA firms in the filing of year-end tax reports and financial statements.

    Track and analyze Company revenue and provide Company weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.

    Conduct other research and administrative tasks to support overall company budgeting, operational budgeting by ranch, and CAPEX budgeting by ranch to review with the Chief Executive Officer, Director of Farming Operations, and Bookkeeper.

    Education/Training:

    Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Operations Research, or a closely related field is required.

    Experience/Certification:

    3 years of professional and technical research experience related to finance, accounting, real estate, and operations management is highly desirable, preferably involving private equity or real estate equity, property management, and acquisition and development industries.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Knowledge of the principles of financial accounting and forecasting practices.

    Basic knowledge/experience in real estate acquisition, mergers, and development, equity investment, and investor reporting practices and methods.

    Knowledge of agricultural economics and operations, crop and water management needs, and tax planning practices and requirements are preferred.

    Knowledge of general ledger accounting practices, and accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and payroll practices.

    Skill to operate word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and specialized research

    Ability to analyze land use, pricing rates, potential yield rates and acquisition and for operations performance reporting.

    Ability to prepare, evaluate, and reconcile financial, tax, accounting, and investor reports.

    Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, delegate, and prioritize tasks and complete research and assignments within deadlines.

    Ability to adopt a detailed, logical, and methodological approach to problem-solving.

    Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing and interact with co-workers, investors, packers, and contractors.

    Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Company records.

    Salary/Benefits:

    Salary +/- $65,000/year (relatable experience and education will dictate starting salary)

    10% of base salary structured bonus opportunity
