Responsibilities: • Counsel borrowers to understand the pros and cons of different loan products to determine which is best for them • Monitor the mortgage process to ensure all company and regulatory processes are adhered to • Exceed our production standards by maintaining an active pipeline • Oversee all customer interactions and ensure a smooth transaction by interfacing with realtors, processors, and underwriters • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies and other related industry professionals Qualifications: • Understanding of loan originator software such as Experian, LendingWise, or Calyx, and Office Suite highly preferred • Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License • Strong understanding of company loan policies and guidelines, as well as all federal and state regulations • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • Understand a variety of loans such as: FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Must have at least 3+ years of experience in originating mortgage loans with referral partners.
