    Role Overview:

    As a Solar Business Development Representative at Simple Solar, you'll have a pivotal role in transforming lives by introducing sustainable energy solutions as an affordable alternative to skyrocketing electricity costs. Your mission is to generate new business and engage with potential customers about exciting and eco-friendly energy options.

Your role involves guiding the families we serve on the path to energy independence, ensuring a seamless customer experience that exceeds expectations every step of the way.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate new business opportunities by directly engaging consumers in designated residential areas, and going door to door (canvassing) targeted areas that are subject to high utility rates.
    • Consult potential customers about the advantages of solar energy and the services provided by Simple Solar.
    • Serve as a representative of our company and brand to potential customers.
    • Meet daily and weekly goals established by your sales manager.
    • Utilize web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage and track your sales pipeline.
    • Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions to enhance your sales skills.
    • Report your metrics promptly and efficiently using the technology provided.
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to achieve sales targets.
    • Compete in exciting sales competitions, including worldwide trips and company vacations.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 1 year of professional sales experience (Required).
    • Willingness to explore new sales territories and generate leads by going door to door.
    • Must be able to work entire shifts on your feet, and must be comfortable walking outside throughout the work day.
    • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
    • Demonstrated success in setting and achieving ambitious sales objectives.
    • Must have a reliable means of transportation.
    • Experience in working collaboratively with colleagues to drive team results and foster a positive work culture.
    • Ability to thrive within a competitive team environment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to build robust relationships with customers and team members alike.
    • Eagerness to participate in regular sales competitions and other team-building activities to drive individual and team success.
    • Adaptability to changing market trends and customer needs, with the ability to pivot sales strategies accordingly.
    • Strong work ethic and a readiness to put in extra effort to exceed goals and achieve exceptional results.
    • Capability to take ownership of responsibilities, work independently, and seek assistance when needed to ensure team success.

    Compensation:

    • Competitive hourly wage, plus commissions & bonuses.
    • Fast-track programs for advancement to management and leadership positions.
    • Paid training.
    • Ranging from $65,000 - $145,000

    Job Type: 30 hours per week

    Pay Structure : $15-$20/hour + Competitive Sales Commissions on demos AND more for customer installs

    Pay Range: $65,000 - $145,000

    Schedule: 6-hour shifts
