    ROLE OVERVIEW:

    As a Door-to-Door Solar Energy Consultant, you will be responsible for helping families faced with exceedingly high electricity costs, helping to educate them on the options they have, exploring sustainable energy as an affordable alternative. Your objective is to generate new business, and organize meetings with senior solar consultants.  You will be responsible for representing the organization, and are expected to uphold company standards throughout the customer journey. We focus on educating you, so that you are equipped with the industry knowledge and solar expertise necessary to educate the customers we serve.  Your goal is to spearhead communication with those customers, and guide them through a smooth transition towards energy independence. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Go door-to-door in designated residential areas to generate new business opportunities and schedule appointments with senior members of your team
    • Represent our company and brand to potential customers
    • Educate homeowners on the benefits of solar energy and the services we offer at Simple Solar
    • Achieve daily and weekly goals set by your sales manager
    • Work with web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to upload and track sales pipeline
    • Attend weekly team meetings and trainings to grow and sharpen your sales skills

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • A positive and determined mindset, with a willingness to hold themselves accountable to high standards of performance and the ability to bounce back from setbacks or rejections.
    • Good English language skills for verbal and written communication.
    • A competitive and driven attitude, as well as the ability to guide and mentor others.
    • The ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a dynamic work environment.
    • A willingness to continuously learn and improve through ongoing training.
    • Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to ask for help when needed.

    COMPENSATION:

    • Commission Based
    • Unlimited uncapped commissions
    • Average earnings for minimum KPI's:  80k-120k per year

    Job Type:  Full-time

    Pay:  $80,000-$120,000

    Schedule:  8 hour shift

    Supplemental pay types:  Uncapped commissions

    Work location:  Residential areas
