What We're Looking For

We're looking for part-time software automation interns to join our Robotic Process Automation team for the summer. This position primarily involves writing, testing, and maintaining JavaScript code to automate immigration processes, but may also involve Python/Django backend software development. 

Responsibilities

• Work on a team of interns to develop automation solutions.
• Collaborate with Workflow and Platform engineers.
• Gain familiarity with the SimpleCitizen automation process.
• Write, test, and refactor Puppeteer scripts.
• Solve challenging technical problems.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to developing the SimpleCitizen web application and documentation.
• Availability to work in our Salt Lake City office Part-Time (~18 hours)
• Summer Internship

Qualifications & Skills

• Interest in web development or automation.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript required, experience with Python preferred.
• Some familiarity with git.
• Some familiarity with HTML and CSS.
• Some experience working in Linux or MacOS.
• Alignment with SimpleCitizen's mission and values.
• Currently working on a college degree.
