SimplePractice is seeking a Marketing Manager with an entrepreneurial drive who’s looking to take ownership of marketing operations and strategy for SimplePractice Learning, the leading continuing education platform for mental health practitioners. Our high-quality, on-demand courses help health and wellness clinicians expand their skills and meet their continuing education requirements through compelling topics and engaging presenters. In this role, you’ll play an integral part in bridging the current and future roadmap for SimplePractice Learning and ensuring its alignment with marketing operations.
Initial Responsibilities
- Own collaboration and communication of pertinent information between two distinct groups with a single objective of growing SimplePractice Learning’s customer base
- Oversee email marketing operations, including calendar planning, content ideation, project management, and facilitation of reviews and feedback
- Align with our Education Director to better understand our customers and the course curriculum to create and facilitate marketing content
- Collaborate with the Editorial group to ensure new courses have compelling articles that help increase course adoption
- Develop interesting approaches to Live Q&A sessions between customers and SimplePractice Learning presenters
- Collaborate on marketing strategies for new courses, accreditations, and platform enhancements
- Own competitive analysis of the continuing education landscape
Requirements
- 3+ years of in-house eCommerce marketing experience
- Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform marketing decisions
- Excellent organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts. Experience with Asana or similar project management tool is a plus.
- Past experience with email marketing and content marketing preferred
- Experience with marketing operations and/or project management is a plus
- Experience with marketing email automation (Iterable) and eCommerce website platforms is a plus
