Our client is looking for a System Administrator/ DevOps Engineer in Austin to work alongside the founders. They are an early seed stage, funded fin-tech startup that has very exciting near-term opportunities and longer-term exit scenarios for those who are excited to be a part of this journey

We are looking for a savvy and seasoned engineer who is at home on the command line and operating systems, to help them scale their infrastructure. All their servers are FreeBSD / Unix based. 

You will have the opportunity to work hand in glove with the CTO, VP of Engineering, and Product team to support a growing product line by building a robust infrastructure, automation, and CI / CD. You will automate the infrastructure in AWS, rapidly deploying support for the fast-developing products, and then figure out how to scale it. The upside potential is extremely large for the right candidate in terms of both cash compensation and equity. They think big and if you are interested in deploying systems that will re-shape an entire industry we'd love to talk.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• FreeBSD / Linux/Unix. You can get deep under the hood and are a master of the command line.
• Strong experience with Terraform scripts 
• Interest in working at an early stage startup
• Love for face-to-face collaboration. This is not a remote position. 
• Experience building and maintaining fast-evolving customer-facing systems
