Their customer base is growing rapidly with some blue chip clients, and they are in need of a talented DevOps engineer to implement and manage infrastructure strategy for the whole product suite, as well as the internal company network. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with existing corporate experience who may be looking to take their career to the next level by taking on a critical role with a system that is currently being rolled out to major brand names.( 100% remote )

This fast-paced role will encompass day to day interactions with the company infrastructure and platform. The core responsibility will be to assist our North American DevOps team in maintaining and optimizing our infrastructure while keeping up with the latest DevOps technologies and methods.

This will be a fully remote, contract-to-hire position.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Oversight of Azure cloud infrastructure

• Maintenance and expansion of automated provisioning and deployment processes (Puppet)

• Deploying on-prem solutions for customers

• Oversight of change request processes, implementation of the process, and best practices.

• Ensure proper uptime, rollback capabilities, load balancing configuration, database configs, backups, for all environments

• Communicate with dev teams to create new custom-builds or environments or apply and configure new technologies before setting up automated deployments

ABOUT YOU:

• 3+ years deploying DevOps services on Azure

• Well-versed in container tech - ideally Kubernetes and Docker

• Familiar and comfortable working with offshore development teams, enterprise support

• Outstanding troubleshooting abilities and a passion for solving problems on the fly

• Experience with multiple lifecycle applications

• Knowledge of securing cloud infrastructure

• Experience in managing big data infrastructure

• Potentially available for a rotating on-call spot

• Solid understanding of network and security fundamentals

• JIRA, Confluence

• TICK Stack; Telegraf, InfluxDB, Chronograf, and Kapacitor

• Terraform

• VCS systems, GIT and Mercurial

• Domain management tools (DNS, DHCP, etc)

• Windows AD and general Windows Domain Experience (In particular Security and User management)

• NFS systems using ISCSI, Coraid storage
