This role is On-site M-F in Northwest Austin, TX. We are looking for someone local or willing to relocate (We will reimburse for re-location expenses and also will sponsor VIsas.)

Responsibilities:
- Explore all the latest technologies, attend most of the available technology conferences, and report/train the rest of the team with your understanding of industry trends
- Test new platforms to gain an understanding of what each new platform is and why they are designed in the way they are.
- Seamlessly collaborate with the Product Team to enhance our current product offerings with new technology ideas.
- Lead the current team with infrastructure/cloud (e.g. AWS) knowledge
Requirements:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science from UT Austin or another top 25 University in the US (or top 50 school worldwide)
- Proficient in Cloud Technologies (AWS), Spark, and Data Engineering
- Eager to stay ahead of the latest industry trends and can travel frequently to technology conferences.
- Collaborative communicator with product managers, and mentor to junior engineers
