Field Sales Representative (Sales Experience Required)
Job Description
We are looking for a proven, motivated and experienced Field Sales Representative to maximize revenue for targeted accounts by growing sales within existing accounts as well as identifying and developing new accounts at a level consistent with or exceeding company expectations. With the responsibility of generating positive sales growth for a specific geography, this Field Sales Representative will have a travel frequently to client sites more than 50% of the time.
Field Sales Responsibilities:
Proactively expand sales by following leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling and lead databases
Collaborate with Sales Support Associate(s) and Appointment Setters to sell products/services, coordinate client visits, sales meetings, etc.
Develop and implement innovative selling strategies
Manage sales process from end to end; initial opportunity through service application
Foster strong relationships with customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty
Understand customer needs and objectives and remain alert/responsive to changing customer needs
Lead generate for all sales areas including insurance, factoring, etc., showing initiative to ensure leads have been contacted
Partner with leadership to negotiate pricing, terms and conditions, as well as other components of customer products
Field Sales Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; or equivalent relevant industry experience
Minimum of 2-3 years outside/field sales experience; preferably in a B2B environment
Excellent client service and communication skills
Holds a consultative approach, business development skills with a strong attention to detail
Highly experienced within the Trucking Industry (Preferred)
Experience in Commercial Insurance a plus, but not a required
Demonstrated aptitude to quickly learning new systems and processes
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to travel at least 30% - 50% of the time
Ability to manage the sales process both independently and in collaboration with a Sales Support Associate
Valid driver's license (Required)
Language: English and Eastern European preferred but not required
