JobDuties:
As our Benefits Specialist, you'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently managing health and welfare benefit plans, from enrollments to terminations.
- Collaborating to develop attractive and cost-effective benefit packages for our clients.
- Creating engaging communication and educational materials to empower employees with knowledge about their benefits.
- Assisting in new employee integration and deduction setup, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
- Ensuring the accuracy of benefit premiums through detailed plan reconciliation.
- Crafting and reviewing comprehensive retirement benefits communication materials.
- Entering benefit deductions in the cutting-edge PrismHR payroll software system.
- Skillfully managing MEP 401(k) plan and individual client retirement plans.
- Conducting audits to maintain precision and compliance.
- Engaging directly with carriers to address claims, eligibility, and service issues.
- Assisting with SPDs, Plan Amendments, Plan Document updates, and other benefits-related matters.
- Crafting ERISA compliance documents, including WRAP documents, with precision.
- Delivering outstanding customer service to clients, employees, and partners via various communication channels.
- Expertly handling disability leaves while upholding confidentiality.
DesiredQualifications:
- An Associate's degree, with a strong preference for candidates with relevant experience.
- Familiarity with the PrismHR software is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of benefits policies, practices, and administrative procedures.
- Excellent client service skills, going above and beyond to exceed expectations.
- Strong analytical and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail, allowing you to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products to streamline your work.
