    • Must have experience with biotech/pharmaceutical industries

    FULL DESCRIPTION:_ OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED HR MANAGER TO LEAD A VARIETY OF HUMAN RESOURCE PROJECTS AND PROVIDE FRUITFUL HUMAN CAPITAL ADVICE. THE CANDIDATE WILL OPTIMIZE EVERYDAY PROCESSES SUCH AS RECRUITMENT, ONBOARDING, HR POLICY AND PROCEDURE IMPLEMENTATION, HR SYSTEM INTEGRATION, HR AUDIT, AS WELL AS EMPLOYEE BENEFIT. THE IDEAL HR MANAGER WILL POSSESS IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND LABOR LAWS IN CALIFORNIA AND FEDERAL ALONG WITH STRATEGIC THINKERS AND PROBLEM-SOLVERS WITH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS._

    The selected candidate will further possess:

    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Detail-oriented and hand-on capabilities with strong business ethic are required
    • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR principles, functions, methods, and best practices 
    • Solid understanding of research methods and analysis
    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
    • Computer savvy and HR system implementation with working knowledge of human resource IT (ADP, Payroll etc.) a plus
    • An analytical skill with problem-solving abilities
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, e.g., excel, word and power point Excellent communication and consulting skills
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired A team player

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:

    • Updates HR files with electronic format.
    • Works with legal counsel to review and update employee handbook
    • Develops management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures, including update and perform recruitment, new hire onboarding, employee changes, exit and termination process and procedure
    • Maintains employee's information and profile
    • Conducts in recruiting, training and management of personnel as required by laws
    • Ensures HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations
    • Conducts audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
    • Prepares and maintain reports related to specific HR projects
    • Develops methods for compiling and analyzing data for reports and special projects Prepares compensation guideline
    • Employee benefit renewal and negotiation 401K/FSA testing and filing
    • Employee communication
    • Administrates “Objectives and key results” (‘OKR”) system and performance appraisal process Performs other duties as assigned.
